The Full Story
For more than 21 years, Founder and Executive Director, Lisa Cacao, served in the United States Air Force, helping military members and families navigate life's challenges. As a Religious Affairs NCO, she worked alongside chaplains, helping agencies, and volunteers to support service members facing crisis, loneliness, grief, stress, and suicide risk. During that time, she helped train more than 2,700 military members, leaders, and volunteers in suicide intervention, helping skills, and resiliency practices. Yet beneath her work, there remained a deeper question:
"Why am I here?"
After hearing the Word of God and placing her faith in Jesus Christ (the Messiah and Son of the Living God), Lisa began a journey that would span many years. Throughout that journey, a close friend would often respond to life's questions with the words:
"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
Although she later learned these words came from Matthew 6:33, she did not fully understand what they meant. Neither she nor her friend could clearly explain the Kingdom they were seeking. For years, Lisa continued searching for answers. She sought to understand her purpose as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, Veteran, leader, and servant. Along the way, she discovered many valuable insights, but they felt like individual pieces of a puzzle whose complete picture remained hidden.
In 2023, that search intensified. Friends gently introduced her to the teachings of Dr. Myles Munroe through Munroe Global. Although they mentioned his teachings in passing, she found herself continually returning with more questions. Eventually, in February 2026, a close friend invited her to join a study of Rediscovering the Kingdom. What followed changed her life.
By March, she discovered and articulated the purpose that had been woven throughout her life from the very beginning:
"To preserve life and help others discover their purpose."
With that discovery came another realization. The gift and work the Father had entrusted to her had always been present.
To build community.
Looking back, she could see that community was the common thread throughout every season of her life. Whether serving military members, supporting families, training volunteers, mentoring others, or creating spaces where people could gather, connect, and grow, God was continually teaching her how to build environments where people could experience belonging and discover their value. Community became the doorway through which people found hope, healing, connection, and purpose.
Today, her calling is expressed through Rally Point Foundation and the vision for Rally Point Performance & Wellness Center; a place where people can come together through recreational sports, training, memberships, wellness activities, and meaningful community engagement that promote physical activity, social connection, personal growth, and purpose discovery.
Because when people find community and discover their purpose, everything changes.
Community is the gift.
Purpose is the discovery.
Preserving life is the mission.
Why Rally Point was started
Rally Point Foundation was established in response to a growing need for community-based solutions that address social isolation, declining mental wellness, and suicide among Veterans and others in our communities. Many individuals struggling with life's challenges never enter formal mental health systems. Others may not know where to turn, may feel disconnected from available resources, or simply need a place where they feel seen, valued, and supported.
We believe that meaningful relationships, regular engagement, peer support, wellness, and purpose are powerful protective factors that help people build resilience and improve overall well-being. We are proactive in our goal, which is to create opportunities for connection before crisis occurs and to help individuals rediscover hope, belonging, and purpose through supportive community environments.

Mission
To preserve life and help veterans and others discover their purpose by creating opportunities for connection, peer support, wellness, and community engagement.
Vision
A world where no one walks alone; where every person experiences belonging, discovers their purpose, develops resilience, and contributes their unique gifts to strengthen families, communities, and future generations.
